Here are me and junior at the Grinnell Glacier Overlook in Glacier National Park bright and early in the morning. Because nothing gets a day started like carrying 25 pounds of 12-month-old to the Continental Divide. (“Happy birthday, kiddo.”)
It would seem obvious to me that hiking in a skirt is easy and comfortable. However, one occasionally meets an astonished fellow-hiker, so I feel compelled to remind everyone: you can hike in a skirt.
This was resting after 13 miles carrying 30 pounds over hilly terrain.
